The Neurology Department at Sarah Bush Lincoln provides comprehensive care for patients with disorders affecting the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles. Our team is dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of neurological conditions using advanced technology and a patient-centered approach.
We care for patients experiencing conditions such as migraines and headaches, stroke, epilepsy, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, memory disorders, and other neurological concerns. Our specialists work closely with primary care providers and other medical teams to ensure coordinated, personalized treatment plans for every patient.
Our department offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services, including neurological evaluations, EMG and nerve conduction studies, EEG testing, and ongoing disease management. We are committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through compassionate care, education, and support.

Fatima Alao, MD, has trained in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Neurologists perform neurological examinations of the nerves of the head and neck; muscle strength and movement; balance, ambulation, and reflexes; and sensation, memory, speech, language, and other cognitive abilities. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, with a fellowship in Neurophysiology/Epilepsy from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY.
