The risk factors used are: age, Glaucoma in one's immediate family, belonging to the racial group most at risk (African American), length of time since experiencing last medical eye care. Those with no insurance are seen without charge. Citizenship or legal residency is required. Those with access to care in other ways (an HMO, VA hospital, etc.) are not eligible.
