Items ranging from activities to handmade treasures will also be on display at the event and open for bidding through 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 2. SBL Hospice cares for and supports people who are terminally ill in a variety of settings, including patient or family homes or medical facilities, including Willow Breeze Hospice House. SBL Hospice offers comprehensive care dedicated to maximizing quality of life by managing symptoms, controlling pain, and supporting the terminally-ill patient physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Hospice services are provided to every patient regardless of their ability to pay. SBL Hospice serves community members across 20 counties in East Central and Southern Illinois.
SBL Hospice also offers care for family members of the terminally ill, including grief support and counseling. There are even bereavement programs available for children and for those dealing with the loss of a child. In addition, SBL Hospice offers a Grant-A-Wish program which provides special end-of-life wishes. For more information about SBL Hospice, please call 1-800-454-4055.
