Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation received a $500 donation from Washington Savings Bank that will assist patients seeking care at the SBL Heart Center.
During February, Washington Savings Bank invited customers, employees and community members to purchase paper hearts for $1 each and on it, write their name or that of a loved one to show support of those with cardiac issues. Washington Savings Bank also did a matching donation to support the event.
Since 2020, WSB has donated more than $2,800 to assist people seeking care at the SBL Heart Center. Net proceeds assist patients of the Heart Center and cardiac rehabilitation who struggle to pay for costs associated with treatment, including the purchase of blood pressure cuffs for those who can’t afford to purchase one themselves.
