CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation is a Community Action Agency which serves economically and socially disadvantaged persons in the seven rural counties listed in areas served. Our mission is to provide opportunities for people through education and support to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Programs include: Central Illinois Public Transit Program, Community Services Block Grant Program, Comprehensive Housing Counseling Program, Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Emergency Solutions Grant Program, Golden Circle Nutrition Program, Head Start 0-5 Program, Home Weatherization Assistance Program, Homebuyer Assistance Program, Literacy Program, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Rental Housing Support Program, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Single Family Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program, Supportive Housing Program, Transitional Housing Program and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program.
