Recovering from an illness, accident or surgery after hospitalization in the comfort of your own home, with the professional care of licensed healthcare professionals, offers the best of both worlds. Shelby Memorial Hospital's Home Health division is committed to excellence and our team of professional nurses and therapists provide a variety of medical services and rehabilitative therapies, all designed to help you heal in your own environment. SMH Home Health is Medicare-certified. One of the most important things to note is that our skilled and experienced nurses are also available to you 24 hours a day to assist with complications should they arise during the course of your care and rehabilitation at home. We proudly serve all of Shelby County, and we accept Medicare or Medicaid as well as private health insurance, private pay and worker's compensation benefits.
Services: Skilled nursing care, Physical and Occupational Therapies, Speech Pathology, Health Education Nutritional Counseling by a licensed and registered dietician, and Social Work by a licensed social worker.
