Program/Service Notes:
Provides comprehensive treatment, cre and
education by a team of specialists from many disciplines to individuals with cancer.
Offers outpatient care in Urbana with laboratory, pharmacy and radiation facilities
on site. Carle medical and radiation oncologists also travel to outlying
communities to provide care. Inpatient care is available at Carle Foundation
Hospital or community hospitals. Within the inpatient setting exists an
interventional outpatient unit which provides chemotherapy and cancer related blood
services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Multiple support groups are available for
patients and families facing cancer. In adition, Carle Clinic's Breast and Prostate
Cancer Center (326-2600 or 383-6847) offer patients a full range of diagnostic
management and treatment therapies.
