Program/Service Notes:
Located on the lower level of Stevenson Tower on the campus of EIU, the WRC serves students, faculty, and staff, as well as the larger community of east-central Illinois. The center offers a growing collection of books, magazines, and video resources relevant to the history and experiences of women. The WRC is a contact center, where information and referrals to area resource groups and organizations can be obtained (such as physical and substance abuse hot lines, mental health and child care services, pregnancy and sexual assault information, and area support groups.)
