About:The Coles-Cumberland-Douglas-Moultrie-Shelby Extension Unit is part of the University of Illinois' educational outreach, dedicated to supporting local residents. As a land-grant institution, University of Illinois Extension develops educational programs, extends knowledge, and fosters partnerships to empower people, strengthen communities, and enhance the environment. Our programming includes local food systems and small farms, 4-H youth development, family life, nutrition and wellness, as well as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-Ed) and the Master Gardener program.
